Nika Jorjaneli [Georgia]

Poet, translator. He was born in 1978 in Tbilisi. He graduated from the Faculty of Western European Languages ​​and Literature of Tbilisi State University. He is the author of 5 poetry collections. His poems are included in modern Georgian poetry and various foreign language anthologies. Participates in many literary festivals. Translated into English, Russian, German, French, Hebrew, Italian and other languages. The collection of translations of his poems was highly praised by the famous German literary scholar and critic, Iris Radisch, who wrote in the summary of the 2018 Frankfurt Book Fair (where Georgia participated as an honored guest): “The biggest discovery is poetry and poets from Georgia, who belong to the highest world league. , like Nika Jorjaneli and his collection “Red Light” (highly recommended)”.
