Summer in Hamburg: 17 year-old Mauser/Grünhorn, whose
double-name is a reference to his split personality, experiences
two weeks that change his life. He meets Jackie, whose
spontaneous attitude fascinates him, as well as Edda, who works
in the video rental store and secretly writes him postcards.
Through long conversations with her, he finally learns how to
come to terms with his difficult past and ultimately to
begin his life again.
