Festival Opening

The first International Literature Festival Odessa begins! The
celebratory kick-off takes place in the heart of Odessa at the
Londonskaya Hotel, where festival directors Hans Ruprecht
and Ulrich Schreiber will greet the festival’s guests and supporters.
In the second half, readings and discussions will be
held with John Ralston Saul, author and president of PEN International
Canada, Kiev-based author Andrej Kurkow, and
Joachim Sartorius from Berlin.
