Yurii Andrukhovych can be considered one of the most impor­ tant cultural and intellectual voices in the Ukraine. He is a writer, poet, essayist, translator – and not lastly, a publisher. The book »Euromaidan – was in der Ukraine auf dem Spiel steht« collects critical anti­Russian voices on the events of Fall 2013, which would change the Ukraine forever. In his brilliant essays he makes an important contribution to the understanding of the Ukraine and of Eastern Europe.
