Anne Thomas, who is half-French and half-American, grew up in England, studied German and Russian, and completed a PhD in comparative literature. Today, she is the international coordinator for Gunter Demnig‘s Stolperstein [»stumbling block«] project. She also works as a freelance journalist and translator in Berlin.
