Philippe Sands [UK]

Philippe Sands is a Franco-British lawyer and Professor at University College London. He is the author of several books and won numerous prizes for his literary début East West Street: On the Origins of Genocide and Crimes against Humanity (2016). Author of seventeen books on international law, Sands served as president of English PEN from February 2018 to April 2023.
