The international literature festival odesa is calling for financial support for Ukraine. It proposes these possibilities:
Front Line Foundation in Poland: The Front Line Foundation, in which writer Andrzej Stasiuk is the chairman of the board, has been collecting money to purchase equipment and supplies to support population defense and humanitarian aid since the beginning of the full-scale war in Ukraine. Representatives of the foundation have personally taken items purchased with the collected money to the front several times (recently to the Donbas battalion and the Khartia brigade, in which Serhiy Zhadan serves). The funds from the collection that we will carry out at the Odessa literary festival will be used for the same purpose: cars, their equipment, clothes and other things. Because the needs are endless. We are asking for your help! You can send financial support to Ukraine via the link to the bank on this website: https://liniafrontu.org/ – or
via links on the Facebook pages of the authors Andrij Ljubka and Serhij Zhadan. See also https://www.privat24.ua/send/dzikv

The festival will be providing financial support to the initiative of the Ukrainian poet Ilya Kaminsky and others, who founded the NGO Poems Not Bombs in Odesa. Through the 2023 foundation of their poetry studio in Odesa, they have set themselves the goal of encouraging children’s curiosity and creativity by organizing writing workshops and poetry reading sessions. Their website is www.poemsnotbombs.org, and the project can be supported with donations directly via PayPal: Eveningodesa@gmail.com
