Igor Bauersima [ Switzerland ]

Igor Bauersima was born in Prague in 1964 and grew up in Switzerland. As an author, director, architect and stage designer, he has been part of the avant-garde of new theatre since the 1990s. His works, which have been translated into 20 languages and performed on more than 140 stages worldwide, mostly use philosophical concepts. Since 2007, he has also been writing for film together with Réjane Desvignes. He was awarded the Bern Book Prize 2001, among others, and was the best young author 2001/2002 of the magazine Theater heute with “norway.today”.
