Larysa Merkulova  [ Ukraine ]

Larysa Merkulova, born in 1961 in Biysk, is a Ukrainian architect. With her partner, Vadym Zaplatnikov, she founded the architectural firm GARAZD – Ukrainian for »Ok, I agree with you« – in 1996. They both earned master’s degrees cum laude from the University of Leuven, Belgium. They have been invited and have collaborated on numerous international projects.
