Silja Tillner  [ Austria ]

The Austrian architect and urban designer Silja Tillner was born in 1960 in Vienna, where she also studied at the Academy of Arts under Professor Gustav Preichl. Silja Tillner and Alfred Willinger, the founders of Tillner & Willinger, have acquired all of their building commissions through competitions, and have won many awards. Tilber has taught, inter alia, at the University of Texas, USA, the École d’Architecture, Nancy, FR, and at the Technical University of Innsbruck, A. Since 2008 she has served on the advisory board for urban planning and urban development.
